Meetings of The Hanover Garden Club are usually held the first Tuesday in the month. We have a short business meeting followed by a speaker and refreshments.

The Program Committee varies the topics of the monthly programs in an effort to satisfy the wide range of interests of our members. Suggestions for speakers/topics are welcomed!

Events held by the Club include: our holiday "Silver Tea" which raises money for the Julius Mason Town Gardens Fund; our May plant sale which raises money to cover club expenses, including the cost of the programs and community projects; trips to interesting gardens and garden-related places; and our spring/summer series of "Gardens Open".

Cancellation Policy for Garden Club Meetings

Please note: regular monthly meetings will not be cancelled due to weather.

Unusual varieties of perennials or shrubs are especially sought after by plant sale buyers, but old standbys are very welcome also. When you put your garden to bed in the fall, mark plants that you think you may donate in the spring. If you need help with digging and potting them in the spring, club volunteers will help with that. With the profits of this sale, we fund our community projects as well as paying the monthly Garden Club expenses, such as for speakers, postage, etc.
