Membership Application

The membership year runs from the June annual meeting until June of the following year. However, new members are welcome any month of the year!

Those wishing to join The Hanover Garden Club should send a check in the amount of $25 made out to The Hanover Garden Club and mail it with your name,address, phone number and e-mail address to:

Benefits of membership

The Hanover Garden Club schedules monthly meetings from September through June. The meetings are generally held at the Howe Library in Hanover. They feature presenters on a wide range of gardening topics.

Members are eligible to participate in various gardening related workshops and field trips scheduled throughout year.

We hold our annual plant sale in May. Working on this activity brings members together as well as providing the major funds for our budget.

In early June we hold our annual meeting and luncheon. Often this also includes an interesting program or demonstration.

Later in June and early July our members volunteer to help plant many of the public gardens in Hanover which make the town so attractive to residents and visitors alike.

A summer highlight held exclusively for our members and their guests is the opportunity to visit half a dozen or so private Upper Valley gardens on three separate dates.

Our Christmas Silver Tea in early December helps to put us all in the holiday spirit. This is another special event for members only.
